Blue Line Police K-9’s K9 Trainer Academy is designed to teach a Law Enforcement K9 Handler the skills needed to be a successful K9 Trainer.  The K9 Officer will learn the knowledge and skills required to select the right dog for Police K9 work.  The K9 Officer will learn to train new K9 Teams and maintain in-service K9 Teams in the areas of Obedience, Tracking, Agility, Article Search, Building Search, Aggression, and Narcotic/Explosive/Accelerant Detection.  The K9 Trainer’s course is scheduled at the same time as Blue Line Police K-9’s Patrol Dog or Single Purpose Academies.
