Blue Line Police K-9’s K9 Emergency First Aid is designed to teach the Law Enforcement K9 Handler advanced first aid for their K9 partner.  The K9 Officer will learn through a combination of lecture and hands on, true to life, case scenarios.  The K9 Officer will learn to perform basic triage and assessment of vital signs, understand gastric torsion and distention, the management of toxicity and drug overdose, the management of anaphylactic and heat stroke, the management of snake bites, and the management of exposure to hazardous materials.
