Craig Pesko

Craig Pesko began working as a K9 Police Officer in 1996, after developing the Police K9 program for the Pontiac Police Department. Craig has personally trained and handled (3) Narcotic/Utility Police K9’s for the City of Pontiac until 2011, when he joined The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, as a K9 Handler.  Craig personally trained and is currently handling his (4th) Narcotic/Utility Police K9 and an Explosive Detection K9 for the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
Craig began his Police K9 training with the Midwest Michigan Police K9 Academy in 1996 and was certified as a Police K9 Decoy.  In 1998, Craig became an Assistant Trainer and in 2000, he became a Trainer.  From 2012 until 2014, Craig worked for Vigilant Canine Services International as a Regional Trainer.  Craig joined Blue Line Police K-9 as a Trainer in 2015, and he is currently a Master Trainer for the National Association of Professional Canine Handlers and The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
