Robin Milroy

Robin Milroy graduated from The University of Guelph (Ontario, Canada) in 1993, where she studied Animal Studies and Behavior.  Robin graduated from The Ontario Police College in 1994 and assisted The Saugeen Shores Police Service K9 Unit with training.  Robin started the Police K9 Unit for The Town of Durham (West Grey Police Services) and certified with a Patrol/Narcotics K9 in 1995.  Robin has been an active member of The United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) since 1996 and is a Judge, Scorekeeper, and Board Member.  Robin completed The Police K9 Trainer’s Course at Oakland Community College in 1999.  Robin has experience in handling an Explosive Detection K9 at The Detroit Auto Show and on contract for large commercial companies.  Robin was contracted to handle Narcotics Detection K9’s in assembly plants for Daimler Chrysler and has participated in narcotic raids with The DEA and The Detroit Police Department.  Robin is a certified Crisis Response K9 Handler and has worked with civilian K9 handlers to prepare them for Therapy Dog and Crisis Response Dog Certifications.
