Adam Atkinson attended Ferris State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice (2007) and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Administration (2011).  Adam began working as a Police Officer for The Michigan State University Police Department in 2007.  Adam became a K9 Handler in 2010 and handles a dual purpose K9.  Adam and his K9 partner are certified through The National Association of Professional Canine Handlers (NAPCH) in Patrol Duties and Explosive Detection.
